A Message from the Daddy-to-be

Hey everyone!

Future father here...I'm still in a little shock...just give me a minute...ok....

I'm really excited and feel blessed and overwhelmed. I'm looking forward to having another Vikings/Twins/Wild/Timberwolves fan in the house. We're anticipating so many changes.

Message to the little one:

You're doing a great job so far. Mommy isn't sick...just don't get her too sleepy. I'll try to be the best dad I can and guide you in the ways of the world. I look forward to laughing with you at life's silly moments and seeing you smile. We'll have so much fun going places, playing games and experiencing life together as a family. Every moment will be an adventure! I can't wait to meet you in May!

Love, Daddy

Adam ~

You are going to the best! Just don't scare the poor little one with your MASK impression or cards-in-the-hair trick!

It is always a worry about what kind of parent one will be....trust me, everyone does. All you can do is the best you can through the values you learned at home, in church, and especially the marriage you and Becky have. No doubt you two will be great parents!

You would not be a human loving being if you were not afraid of the future as a parent....instinct will prevail and you two will be fine!

Does the fear of parenting ever go away??? Hmmm......NO! You will always wonder if you are doing the right thing; know in your heart that you are.

Hi you two,
This blog update is so cool! Becky you look radiant! Adam I'm so glad you're excited. You will be a wonderful and fun Dad for your baby to have. You are sensitive and loving. I can't wait to hear about when you hear the baby's heart beat and see an ultrasound. Bec, I'm so glad you are not sick. I was really tired the first 3 months but that goes away.
Anna is cute for a girl. Jack is cute for a boy. Richard, grandpas name is nice for a middle name or first. "Ricky Rosenbaum" ha ha. Names are totally up to you guys, don't let anyone pressure you. Gotta run. You'll be speaking baby talk before you know it! Ga Ga Goo Goo

Got me crying again with that entry! These people in the computer lab down in Australia must think I am crazy! Adam, you are going to be awesome! I think that any kid would love to have you as a dad because you are so much fun. I was dancing the other day and I thought of that dance you always used to do when you were living with us that always made me laugh so hard. Those are the silly moments you have to look forward to with "baby baum!" Becky you will no doubt be wonderful too. Can you believe you are actually going to be a mommy?! I miss you guys tons and I always look forward to your postings to give me a little taste of home. You know as well as I do that home is where the heart is, and even though you are not in MN right now...my home is family. You are the best home! Love you!

Hi Adam!
I have another idea! When the baby is bron get it a binki, it is way better than it sucking it's thumb. Believe me I had a binki until i was three. Plus if they suck on a binki instead of there thumb they dont get an imprint in the top of there thumb. Oh and you should get one of those baby swings that you can hook to a tree that was one of my favorites! This is gonna be cool, whenever your in doubt you can talk to me.
Love you and Becky both (the baby too)
