Make sure and VOTE!

BOYS NAME
GIRLS NAME

Make sure and vote again for both! (We promise we won't change them again!)

So far, in talking with people, we have noticed MAJOR regional differences in name preferences!

If you have any specific opinions (which are welcome, feel free to post or email but please be aware that some still do NOT know the sex of the baby!)

34.75 Weeks...

Baby is almost 5 lbs. now and measures around 18 inches in length. Organs are fully developed at this point---he/she is just working on putting on some of that baby fat. (1/2 lb. per week).

I'm feeling pretty good---not uncomfortable except when a little foot decides to kick rather hard into my ribs. I am getting more tired again, but not as bad as right away in the 1st trimester.

Swelling hasn't been too bad, occasionally my hands/feet will puff up a little. Of course, it probably doesn't help walking around Animal Kingdom or Sea World all day, but hey, I LOVE getting out into the WARM sunshine and getting some exercise!

Aughhh!

Ok, our baby just isn't going to have a name. We're completely stressing over it. We haven't found a name we love in 3 years...what actually makes us think we will come up with one in the next 5-6weeks?????

HEEELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!

34 weeks...and counting...

We had our 34 week checkup today. Funny...this is the 3rd time Dr. Crider has had to leave to go deliver a baby during our appointment time. It's amazing how quickly they get back though. (Of course, these have all been uncomplicated deliveries). We did read a statistic though that more babies are born on Tuesday than any other day of the week.

Baby's heartbeat is good---in the 140's.
My blood pressure is 110/60 which is fine.
I actually lost 2 lbs. since the last appointment (which is really nothing to be worried about).
Must be all that walking at Animal Kingdom yesterday.

We go back on April 4 for a 36 week checkup, then every Tuesday until the due date. Group B Strep will be tested for at the next appointment.

Things are going well...I've had a few "crampy" feelings which technically are contractions---very normal at this stage. Baby is still breech but has a few more weeks to turn before we start having to worry about that. Many babies keep you guessing until the end...

Top 'O The Mornin' To Ya!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! May you all find the pot of gold at the end of your rainbow!

Today is a wonderful day! It is the day that our spring break starts...
It dawned on me this morning that I only have 18 workdays left....(Easter Break, Spring Break, etc) (Adam only has 32 days)
It is 82 degrees here in beautiful, sunny Orlando...
We (still) get in free to SeaWorld (love those teacher perks)...maybe tomorrow!

Baby is a little kicking machine. My ribs are sufficiently bruised, but I'm happy 'cuz baby is getting stronger and closer to being here every day!

WHAT ARE THEY THINKIN'?

If anyone could have heard the uproar in our household this morning....Whaddya mean they traded Daunte to Miami? Does anybody REALIZE how old Johnson is (37)? Whaddya mean that all they got for Culpepper was a 2nd round draft pick? No other guys? Well, they got rid of Randy and Daunte, what do they plan on doing with the money that was inevitably freed up? The defense isn't great, and now the offense is downright depressing....but hey, at least we have new coaches to coach our non-talent. Are they EVEN TRYING to get a Superbowl win? And on....and on....and on....

Maybe it's not that bad. Maybe our "chance" at a 2nd round pick will yield a quarterback. But...then again....it's a roll of the dice.

Quick 32 Week Update

We had another Dr. appt. yesterday. Everything is going well. Blood pressure is good, baby's heartbeat is strong and steady. Baby is still breech--has a couple of weeks still before they start getting concerned. Instead of laying sideways, baby is sitting up now (from what we can tell without an ultrasound).

Baby's movements are so nice and strong---we're so proud! Seems to have a good sleep/awake cycle so far. Awake between 5:30am-7:00am, 9:00am-11:00am, 1:00pm-3:00pm, 4:45pm-??? I'm sure baby is awake at night too, but never wakes me up...so who knows?!?!?

31 week picture....and on to 32 weeks!

At this stage, baby's tastebuds are developing, weighs about 3.75 lbs. and is over 16 inches long!

We've had a great time actually seeing the baby roll around, instead of just feeling him/her. I have been able to see little thumps for awhile, but those big rolls are AMAZING! Lovin' it!

Can't believe we're moving into week 32 already. It's crazy! Now, I just have to learn to deal with the fact that I may possibly never sleep again.... I LOVE SLEEPING!

Our little soccer player/kung fu master sends kicks of love out to all of you and is looking forward to meeting everyone!

Suggestions...

My coworkers would like to give me a baby shower at the end of March. They'd like to focus mainly on toys and books for baby, since we don't have any yet.

I'd like some suggestions of stuff to register for....

What are your childrens' favorite toys/books?
What are YOUR favorite childhood toys/books?

You get the idea. If you know of any "must haves", let us know! Thanks!
