My coworkers would like to give me a baby shower at the end of March. They'd like to focus mainly on toys and books for baby, since we don't have any yet.
I'd like some suggestions of stuff to register for....

We absolutely loved the Tiny Love Gymini Super Deluxe - I think you actually gave this to the Gronaus. It's useful from 1 month through whenever your baby becomes mobile and gets bored with it - but even then, Josie still loved the detachable toys. It was a life saver and entertained Jo for hours! Some sort of stacking cups are a must have, and we really liked the Baby Einstein soft blocks, too. Anything that makes music and lights up is always a hit.
Some of our favorites:
-Fisher Price stackable rings (Rock a Stack)
-Link-a-Doos
-Baby Einstein DVDs and animal picture cards
-Fisher Price makes this Train that is musical and has blocks on it-Owen's favorite
-Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy (I personally hate this thing, but Owen LOVES it)
As far as brands go, I've liked the Fisher Price stuff we got and the Baby Einstein stuff. We have the blocks Carol is talking about-good item. We have the Baby Einstein activity gym and liked that a lot, too.
