30 Week Checkup

Had a doctors appt. yesterday---

My blood pressure was good (a little high for me at 110/60, but apparantly that is normal).
Baby's heartbeat is beating strong :)

Blood work for diabetes came back fine...well under the "140" limit which is good news. Doctor is concerned with anemia though, as it came back a few points shy of what is "acceptable". He's not overly concerned, as it is only a few points, but suggested that I make sure and get even more iron in my diet (besides the vitamins).

Baby must have gone through a growth spurt last time, because I'm measuring right on 30 weeks now (whew).

After the appointment, we had our maternity unit tour. That was interesting as we got to see the rooms (all private), ask lots of questions and meet one of the wonderful lactation consultants.

That's all the news for now! Have a great day!

Hi Kiddos

Great updates. Good to talk last night. Can't wait to see you both on Thursday and do some major "gabbing" to catch up. Becky, your tummy is looking great, just the way it is suppose to! Sorry its hard to breathe right now. Maybe the baby will turn and give you some relief. Glad you took the tour of labor and delivery. Those birthing rooms are so nice. Lactation nurses are the best and very very helpful. See you tomorrow and We want details of everything! Lets go shopping on Sat. Ron will definitely help Adam with the Crib. Nice of you to keep us involved. Sounds like you both have been working hard on the nursery and putting other baby equipment together.

Love ya three, Mom and Dad
